Born in Faridabad, Haryana, and currently based in Delhi, Shaheen has been painting since the tender age of ten and composing poetry from the age of fifteen. Guided by his mentor, the late Shri Vijay Deepak, a distinguished figure in the Hindi film banner art lineage, Pawan Verma absorbed not only the techniques of visual art but also the soul of traditional Indian artistic expression.
